The Boathouse

 

The Boathouse offers a spectacular view of the bridge and the lake.  On the south end of the boathouse is a large meeting room that can be rented.  This room functions as an activity room during weekdays year round for senior park visitors to drop in, relax, play cards, meet with friends, paint, or do other activities.  There is another meeting room in the middle of the boathouse that provides access to the swan boat rentals and the Boathouse Snack Bar.
 

Senior Room: 
Mon.- Fri. from 10:00 to 4:00 year round
 

Swan Boat Rental & Snack Bar:   
Fri. from 12:00 to 7:00

Sat. & Sun. from 11:00 to 7:00

(weather permitting)
 

Snack Bar Hours:
Same as boat rental hours

Interested in Paddle boating? 

 

During the proper seasons, paddle and row boats are available for hourly rentals.  All questions regarding paddle boats should be made to the Essex County Parks and Recreations department.
